Job Description

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Systems Engineer Technical Task Order (TTO) Lead to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup MD. As a systems engineer on our team you will support one of the largest enterprisewide Engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a fulltime position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at the Peraton site.

As a Systems Engineer TTO Lead on our team you will lead a task order and perform as a manager for Peraton employees and subcontractor personnel assigned to a specific mission domain area. You will manage experienced professionals working in various customer spaces providing specialized engineering support; and provide technical leadership and guidance to support the application of System Engineering and Architecture (SE&A) processes and tools to solve technical problems and achieve desired mission will determine candidates for employment/termination conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and be responsible for the application of company and program policies. You will resolve personnel issues as needed which may involve time attendance or policies. You will interact with government leadership for staffing personnel and financial concerns to ensure cost schedule and performance goals are met.

You will report Technical Task Order status on a weekly and monthly basis update Technical Task Order Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and brief Technical Task Order accomplishments to program personnel monthly. You will also conduct financial analysis on your Technical Task Order monthly utilizing provided program financial reports.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree or advanced degree in computer science information systems engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Masters degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Three or more years of experience performing in technical leadership role or program management experience.
  • Previous experience with technical task management including task development customer/stakeholder relationship building cost & schedule management and staffing.
  • Position requires an experienced personnel manager with strong communication skills. Individual must be responsive flexible and able to work independently.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Experience applying a systematic metricsbased process to evaluate a projects technology maturity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including demonstrated ability to comfortably interact with all levels of organizational management be willing to operate in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision and possess strong interpersonal problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ten years of experience supporting programs and projects within the MPO customer.
  • Related certifications; e.g. PMP CSEP ESEP etc.
