Job Description
Marc Jacobs International powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs seeks a Temporary Design Coordinator to join the Runway Design Team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in set up and maintenance of fabric and design boards
Swatch fabric lining and trim options in midtown
Pick up/deliver samples to factories
Organize fit room
Assist in preparation of cut tickets
Simple handsewing projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fashion design background preferred
Experience in sample room and design ateliers preferred
SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: The compensation for this position ranges from $20 (per hour). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates relevant skills and experience. MJ employees also receive discounts on MJ products throughout the year.
