Job Description
Main Responsibilities /
Warehouse Operations Management /
- Oversee the daily operations of the bonded warehouse ensuring efficiency and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage the receipt storage and dispatch of coffee products maintaining accurate inventory records.
Regulatory Compliance /
- Ensure the warehouse complies with all local national and international laws and regulations regarding bonded goods.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation for customs and excise purposes.
Inventory Control /
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to track the movement and storage of coffee products.
- Conduct regular physical inventories and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Quality Assurance /
- Ensure the quality and integrity of stored coffee by maintaining proper storage conditions.
- Address any issues related to product quality including contamination or damage.
Team Management /
- Supervise train and develop warehouse staff to achieve optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse employees to ensure efficient operations.
Safety and Security /
- Implement and enforce safety and security policies to protect staff and inventory.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for warehouse personnel.
Customer Service /
- Liaise with clients customs officials and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.
- Provide exceptional service to clients ensuring their storage and shipping needs are met efficiently.
Reporting and Analysis /
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance including inventory levels shipping and receiving activities and compliance status.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Cost Management /
- Monitor and control warehouse operating costs including labor equipment and supplies.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
Continuous Improvement /
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and implement innovative solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance warehouse operations
Qualifications :
- 3 years at management level
- 5 or more years of related experience and/or training with warehouse management inventory management and operations
- Good English
- Experience in commodity trading is a plus
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization
- Ability to multitask and be flexible
- Good knowledge of safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and training procedure
