The Work Itself:
The Senior ML Engineer as a part of our Generative AI team will play a multifaceted role in the design development and deployment of our Large Language Model (LLM) applications. Key responsibilities will include creating applications based on the RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) framework developing efficient inferencing algorithms and finetuning the LLM to cater to various applications.
This role will also involve leveraging various machine learning stacks to enhance system efficiency researching new techniques to advance our LLM applications and collaborating with crossfunctional teams within the organization. In addition the engineer will be responsible for documenting processes and workflows and sharing insights with the team.
This position requires a solid understanding of AI and machine learning principles robust problemsolving skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with project team members (Product Managers Architects Analysts Software Engineers Project Managers etc. to ensure development and implementation of new data driven business solutions.
- Drive development effort EndtoEnd for ontime delivery of high quality solutions that conform to requirements conform to the architectural vision and comply with all applicable standards.
- Collaborate with senior technical staff and PM to identify document plan contingency track and manage risks and issues until all are resolved
- Present technical solutions capabilities considerations and features in business terms. Effectively communicate status issues and risks in a precise and timely manner.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 0 years of
relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD).
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to leadingedge areas such as Machine Learning Big Data Distributed
Systems or SRE.
Experience in at least one of the following: Python Golang Java or C/C
Familiarity with web service standards and related patterns (REST gRPC)
Experience implementing solutions for lowlatency distributed services using
open standard technologies.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 116500.00 to 164500.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
