Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are looking to hire an Associate Front End Engineer AI Service Engineering to join the Cyber Analytics & AI Innovations team in Visa. You as a Software Engineer will be responsible for designing building and supporting cutting edge AI innovations in cybersecurity. You should be an engineer at heart possessing software engineering skills allowing to lead teams that build some of the most critical and marquee products in the entire company. You will build enterpriselevel AI solutions with AI autonomous agents deep neural networks large language models GPUs and big data platforms.
The Work itself:
- Design code and systems that influence Visas internal standards for scalability security and reusability.
- Collaborate multifunctionally to create design artifacts and develop bestinclass software solutions for Visas technical offerings.
- Actively contribute to product quality improvements valuable service technology and new business flows in diverse agile squads.
- Develop robust and scalable products intended for internal stakeholders.
- Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of cybersecurity solutions.
- Opportunities to make a difference on a global or local scale through mentorship and continued learning opportunities.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.
- Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features under minimal guidance.
- Applies standard processes on the use of programming languages and frameworks (e.g. JavaScript / TypeScript HTML) to write code that fulfills modification requests and technical requirements.
- Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features.
- Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions.

**We do not expect that any single candidate would fulfill all of these characteristics. For instance we have exciting team members who are really focused on building scalable systems but didnt work with payments technology or web applications before joining Visa
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Must have skills:
- Programming Languages: Knowledge and ability to develop:
- Frontend code (JavaScript / TypeScript HTML)
- Working knowledge of how frontend code interacts with APIs and backend services
- Expertise: Strong focus on React component development state management and frontend architecture
- UI/UX Implementation: Ability to translate designs into responsive accessible and performant user interfaces
Desired skills:
- User Interface Design: Knowledge of user interface design principles and best practices. Understanding of how to provide an optimal user experience through thoughtful UI implementation.
- Web Browser Optimization: Ability to optimize frontend applications for performance across different browsers and devices
- Version Control & Collaboration Tools: Experience with Git Jenkins and Jira for code management and team collaboration
- FrontEnd Build Tools: Familiarity with webpack Babel and other modern frontend build tools
- CrossBrowser Compatibility: Understanding of browser differences and techniques to ensure consistent user experience
