Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset with a background in purchasing We are currently looking for a Strategic Buyer to be part of our global team. Based in Burnsville MN you will be responsible for providing strategic support towards the regional Indirect purchasing teams to ensure strategy consistency. In this role you will:
- Be the Strategic Buyer for Logistic Services and other Indirect categories
- Be responsible for the analysis of the category as well as the development definition and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the relevant internal business partners.
- Have responsibility in your category over the commercial aspects of supplier management such as preparing and conducting tenders price negotiations and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure global coordination with the Indirect Purchasing global team working with suppliers internal stakeholders and crossfunctional team to optimize the logistics procurement process and deliver value.
Position may require early morning or late night meetings with global development teams
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in business administration industrial engineering mechanical engineering or similar.
- 5 years of professional experience in indirect purchasing as well as experience in logistics and supplier strategy.
- Experience in logistic services required specifically knowledge of freight carrier and compliance with industry regulations
- Negotiate contracts for Indirect purchasing to secure best pricing terms and quality
- Experience identifying cost savings
- Ability to travel domestically/regionally (up to 10
- Passionate flexible and performance oriented with a high level of resilience and assertiveness.
- Strong team player with preference to work in international teams.
- Selfmotivated structured and bring an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Possess a high affinity for crossdepartmental cooperation and international business.
- Proven track record in achieving objectives experience in leadership and stakeholder management.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred. German is an additional plus.
Additional Information :
The salary range for this position is $98000$108000 annually and is not bonus eligible. Individual pay for this role can fall anywhere within this range and is dependent on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience applicable education job knowledge certifications role complexity job geographic location etc. In addition to base compensation Bosch offers a comprehensive total rewards package focusing on overall wellbeing and benefit offerings being effective Day 1!
