Position Summary
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses most likely in general or organic chemistry. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties And Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate chemistry lecture and laboratory courses for a diverse student body from a broad range of majors is expected with additional opportunities at the graduate level based on department needs. Course development including implementation of new undergraduate laboratory experiments and/or implementation of new classroom pedagogy/methods/content/activities is possible. Open communication with colleagues especially when teaching multisection courses is common and expected.
Minimum Qualifications
An advanced degree (MS PhD) in chemistry biochemistry or a closely related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Postdoctoral experience is preferred. Teaching experience at the postsecondary level is preferred.
