Power Plant Electrician

SG Energy Solutions is looking for a skilled Electrician. A positive and motivated individual who will be responsible for providing electrical assistance in a team environment ensuring successful daily field operation . A fulltime position for someone that is highly motivated organized a good decision maker and a selfstarter that works well unsupervised as well as in a team setting outstanding customer service skills strong computer literacy and communication skills. This position requires traveling all over the USA.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will have knowledge of pulling electrical cables running conduits terminating various types of panels bending conduit threading pipe etc.
• Understand the use of hand and power tools to do electrical repair work.
• Must use proper grounding techniques.
• Must have a basic understanding of how to read and understand schematics.
• Must perform proper and safe cable routing.
• Will be required to complete all training including Arc Flash and Basic Electrical Safety Training as provided.
• Must be able to determine the appropriate level of PPE needed for a specific assigned task.
• Must properly use ladders and safety harnesses.
• Must be able to properly use various testers such as multimeters meggers oscilloscope along with other hand tools to complete a job.
• Be able to exercise the proper use of wiring techniques for 12 volt DC 24 volt DC 120 volt DC 120 volt AC 240 volt AC 480 volt AC 600 volt AC and 13.8 kV single and threephase.
• Help Turbine Techs on a rig in/out of the Turbines.
• Assist Turbine techs and begin learning about the turbine and related equipment.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including 14 21 days on duty and 7 days off duty however a schedule is subject to change and fluctuate due to company needs
• Schedules include working day shift night shift weekends holidays etc.
• Willingness to workdays off if needed
• Willingness to travel out of state and internationally as necessary
• Must have a smartphone to be able to utilize when needed and be available when contacted
• Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
• Effective oral and written communication
• Able to speak clearly in English so as to be easily understood
• Must possess a Journeyman Electrician License issued by the state. In the absence of a license must have minimum number of hours required by the State in either electrical work or classroom instruction to obtain the license.
• 12 years experience in Electrical field with knowledge of A/C power and A/C motors.
• Basic knowledge of frac equipment
• Is a team player positive wellorganized proactive force to support profit and growth of the company
• Is courteous and cordial to our customers
• Ensures that the Companys best interests are represented including profitability cost control and safety
