Job Description

We currently have Assistant Teacher openings for the 2025 summer :Bachelors degree preferredExperience with children/adolescents in a special education setting preferredAbility to develop an understanding of special needs population and therapeutic milieuProven interpersonal skillsAbility to work both collaboratively and independentlyStrong communication skills Schedule:June 27 2025 through July:30am3:30pm; MondayThursday 7:30am3:00pm; Friday Responsibilities:Provide inclass support to teachers and studentsAssist teachers with lesson & activity planning & prep work as requestedWith guidance from a classroom teacher and at times independently work with students on onetoone basis or in small groupsFacilitate and lead students during transitions lunch electives & group activitiesProvide oneonone support to students in or outside the classroom in order to meet their needsAssist with facilitating off campus school tripsDemonstrate respect for diversity among our staff and student body and promote an atmosphere which values this diversityPlease submit a cover letter and resume to: Margaret Gifford School177 Boston Post RoadWeston MA 02493
