Job Description
Position Overview
Job Title: Automotive Interior Parts Development Engineer
Employment Type: Fulltime / Permanent
Work Location: Ciudad Jurez Mexico (near the El Paso Texas border) or Georgia/Alabama region USA
Responsibilities
Analyze customer (OEM/Tier 1 requirements and develop corresponding interior part designs
Interpret technical drawings and specifications; prepare BOMs
Coordinate prototype development and work closely with tooling/injection/machining processes
Review development schedule and quality prior to mass production
Communicate with customers and manage technical discussions
Identify and implement solutions to address development issues
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive interior parts development
Experience in customer communication and leading development projects
Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings (Experience with CATIA NX is a plus)
Experience with quality documents (APQP PPAP etc. is a plus
Willingness to work overseas and ability to communicate in English preferred
Work Conditions
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
