Dallas Medical Center is a 155bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care cardiology wound care surgical services cardiac catheterization lab and outpatient therapy. The hospital is the only trauma center in the vicinity and is also a Certified Chest Pain Center. The Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for:
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. Current PALS upon hire and maintain current preferred.
5. Previous supervisory experience one to two years in acute care hospital Surgical OR setting preferred.
6. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room preferred.
7. CNOR within 2 years preferred.
8. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
9. Competency in Sedation Monitoring within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
