Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Program Development: Design implement and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff to ensure they are up-to-date with current practices and technologies.
- Clinical Instruction: Provide hands-on training and supervision during clinical practice to reinforce best practices and enhance clinical skills.
- Curriculum Design: Develop and update curricula that reflect the latest evidence-based practices and healthcare standards.
- Mentorship: Offer guidance and support to nursing staff fostering professional development and growth.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Monitor and assess the competencies of nursing staff providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare teams to integrate educational initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: A Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred along with a strong clinical background.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Several years of clinical nursing experience with a focus on education or staff development.
- Skills: Excellent communication leadership and organizational abilities are essential.
