Role Overview
This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of the Executive Directors Office responsible for driving forward key strategic and cultural programmes across the Directorate. Acting as a trusted advisor this role delivers highlevel policy insight operational guidance and strategic counsel on sensitive and highprofile issues ensuring the Executive Directors priorities are met with precision and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic advice and operational support to the Executive Director ensuring delivery of key priorities and highprofile initiatives.
Lead the delivery of key priorities for the Private Officeusing DIA teams for evidencebased decisions and the PMO to monitor programme performance while collaborating with senior leaders to align activities with organisational goals and drive cultural transformation.
Coordinate the senior leadership team to ensure alignment and of the Directorates strategic agenda.
Oversee financial planning resource management and signoff processes on behalf of the Executive Director.
Lead delivery of sensitive projects engagement activity and internal communications ensuring clarity consistency and impact across the organisation.
About You
With significant experience in managing sensitive highimpact programmes and projects this role demands strong strategic planning capabilities and a businessfocused approach to deliver highquality enabling services in complex fastpaced environments.
The successful candidate will be highly organised datadriven and skilled in influencing and communicating effectively across all levels including within matrix structures. The role requires expertise in delivering clear and consistent strategic messaging managing risk and applying innovative problemsolving techniques
