Job Description
Our client has partnered with a leading provider in the motor hire industry offering a wide range of vehicles for both shortterm and longterm rentals. Their goal is to provide customers with excellent service reliable vehicles and hasslefree experiences.
Role overview
As the Prompt Engineer you are the core GenAI configuration specialist within the Tiger Team. Your primary responsibility is to design develop test and iteratively refine prompts for the existing GenAI platform to meet the specific functional requirements defined by the Functional Analyst. You will become an expert in the nuances of the target GenAI platform(s) ensuring outputs are accurate relevant and valuable for the clients use case. You will analyze prompt performance troubleshoot issues and stay current with the latest prompt engineering techniques to maximize the effectiveness of the deployed solution.

Requirements
- Demonstrable expertise in prompt engineering/design for major GenAI platforms (LLMs).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for testing and evaluating GenAI outputs.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into effective wellstructured prompts.
- Meticulous attention to detail and an iterative experimental approach to optimization.
- Excellent problemsolving skills related to GenAI performance and output quality.
- Curiosity and drive to stay updated on the rapidly evolving GenAI landscape and prompting best practices.
- Ready for intermittent travel as required by project needs.
- A handson individual with demonstrable expertise in crafting and refining prompts for major GenAI platforms (LLMs).
- Given the fields newness focus on proven skill over years of experience.
- 12 years direct Prompt Engineering experience (or demonstrable equivalent skill)
- Strong analytical/testing skills
- Expertise with specific target LLM(s)
- Essentials: Strong analytical and iterative testing methodology.
- Problemsolving skills specific to AI output quality.
- Must show genuine curiosity and ability to quickly learn new techniques and platform nuances.
Core Focus: Gen AI Configuration
The handson GenAI configuration specialist. Designs tests and refines prompts on the existing platform to meet the FAs requirements. Needs deep platformspecific knowledge and prompt crafting expertise. This is a highly specialized techie role vital for GenAI deployment.
