Job Description

Position: Purchasing Assistant Manager

Company Overview:

Our client is a Shoe Manufacturing a leading footwear company located in Semarang. They are specializing in producing highquality shoes for both men and women

Job Summary:

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Shoes Assistant Manager to join the client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing all materials and components needed for the production of shoes. This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies for Bottom Part include search/source potential suppliers/vendors and existing suppliers/vendor management.
  • Assescurrent material availability reasonably predicts future availability based on the market delivery systems and other variables.
  • Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements include quality for materials cost products and acceptable substitutions.
  • Evaluates negotiates and approves conditions for issuing and awarding bids.
  • Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems include database of approved suppliers.
  • Drafts explains and implements instructions policies and procedures for purchasing and contract management.
  • Resolves grievances with vendors contractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinates removal or disposal of surplus/deadstock materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Track measure and analyze company expenditures (budgeting)
  • Work with superior to determine and track KPIs.
  • Provide reports for upper management.
  • Adhere to laws rules and regulations custom.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree with minimum 6 years of extensive experience in shoe industry
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers/Vendor and negotiate contracts
  • Evaluate vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Monitor stock availability and ensure a smooth supply chain
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to maintain a costeffective supply chain
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Skill & Competencies :
Material knowledge in Shoe Industry
Highly skilled communicator
Negotiation Skills
English in Professional
Experience as ERP Power User (purchasing/inventory)
