Role Description & Required/Preferred Skills:
Security Engineer with handson experience in Palo Alto/SonicWall.
Experience configuring firewall policies.
Experience configuring interfaces and routing on firewalls.
Knowledge in configuring nextgen features such as URL filtering and IPS.
Perform configuration migrations from SonicWall.
Conduct Best Practice Assessments and implement next steps.
Resolve issues through troubleshooting and inspection of the infrastructure.
Maintain complete technical documentation.
Assist with improvements to firewall network performance capacity and scalability.
Handson experience with Palo Alto NGFW/Panorama in a large environment.
