Qualifications:

Ability to demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of assigned tasks through oral and written channels of communication

Possess and apply public relations skills effectively

Maintenance and Grounds work experience related to largescale physical plant operation with educational facility experience being the most preferred

Other related work experience may also qualify for consideration

Have a Class C Drivers License

Tractor experience preferred

Reports To: Director of Operations

Essential Function:

Ability to lift 70 pounds operate machinery communicate work flexible hours and have regular attendance

Position Goal:

To provide a safe attractive comfortable clean and efficient facility in which full educational and community use may be provided at all times

Performance Responsibilities:

Attendance is necessary to be successful in this position.

Perform districtwide maintenance/grounds duties and follow orders as assigned

Ensure the proper storage maintenance and use of supplies and equipment

Comply with all district local state and federal laws or procedures regarding the storage and disposal of chemicals and/or hazardous waste

Mow trim and maintain all district lawns shrubberies flowers and trees in a safe attractive condition and/or as directed

Perform all other duties as assigned
