Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
This contract supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its component agency the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in advancing its mission to protect the nation and respond to emergencies effectively. Specifically it focuses on enhancing and sustaining FEMAs Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Operations Portfolio.
The mission centers around the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of IT systems and services that are critical to FEMAs ability to deliver emergency management capabilities. This includes ensuring continuous system availability security modernization and operational efficiency to support FEMAs missioncritical programs and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and manage FEMAs data infrastructure to support missioncritical operations.
- Develop robust database solutions that ensure efficient data storage retrieval and analysis.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability among diverse data sources and systems used across FEMA.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to align data architecture with FEMAs strategic goals.
- Lead efforts to shape FEMAs data architecture to support evolving operational needs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience:
- Relevant years of experience in Computer Science Information Technology or Engineering.
- Certifications:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Certification
- OCI Implementation Specialist Certification
- Clearance:
- Must obtain a Public Trust clearance before starting work.
