This opportunity is available for current Los Angeles County employees who have successfully finished their initial probationary period.
Current employees in unclassified service in the County of Los Angeles who meet the following criteria also qualify to participate in this exam:
Fulltime employees in the unclassified service with at least six months of fulltime experience in the unclassified service by the last day of filing or at the time of filing the application.

A Senior Real Property Agent is responsible for performing a combination of the following essential job functions:
Requirement to Qualify:
Option I:Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree which also includes real estate courses totaling 15 semester units* AND three years of experience at the level of Real Property Agent II**in either of the following: appraising acquiring selling leasing or managing real property of which two years must have involved commercial or industrial property ORfacilities project design development or space management
OPTION II: Two years experience performing real property analysis appraisal sale lease relocation or concession and franchise negotiation for public use as a Real Property Agent II** within the County of Los Angeles.
PHYSICAL CLASS:Physical Class II Light: This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10pound limit and some bending stooping or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved.
LICENSE:A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out jobrelated essential functions.

Once we have identified that you meet the requirements an invitation regarding the following assessment processes will be sent:
EXAMINATION CONTENT:
This examination will consist of TWO 2 parts:
Part I:A multiple choice and/or simulation assessment(s) weighted 50assessing:
Part II:An evaluation of Training and Experience weighted 50assessing:
Applicants must meet the requirements and achieve 70 or higher on the combined score of Parts I and II in order to be placed on the eligible list.

EXAM REVIEW:Some exam components are not subject to review by candidates. Multiple choice and/or simulation assessments are not reviewable by candidates per civil service rule 7.19.
The names of candidates receiving a passing grade in the examination will be placed on the eligible list in the order of their score group for a period of Twelve 12 months following the date of promulgation.
