- Participating in weekly group supervision meetings Providing evaluations to elementary and middle school students Writing reports & effectively presenting information test results diagnoses & recommendations at IEP meetings Provide individual & small group therapy (in collaboration with the speech department) Create sensory profiles and intervention plans Use both inclass and sensory room interventions to teach awareness & regulation Along with our other 22 clinicians who share this responsibility process with students who are upset or dysregulated Write current OTrelated progress notes IEP goals and benchmarks for about 15 students Work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team (OT Speech Psychologist and BCBAs)
- Masters of Occupational Therapy OT/R national licensure Licensed in the state of Massachusetts as an occupational therapist Knowledge and experience with a variety of assessment instruments including administration scoring and interpretation Knowledge and experience with students who have autism spectrum disorders and various mental health challenges (e.g. anxiety OCD DMDD Tourettes etc. Excellent critical thinking written and verbal skills
