Transports patients from their room throughout hospital as needed to ancillary departments; adheres to schedules and notifies departments of schedule changes in a timely manner. Transports patients in a safe and efficient manner including use of AIDET.

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Roper St Francis Healthcare requires minimum age of 16.
Licensure/Certification Required:
BLS Basic Life Support American Heart Association (required at hire for Roper St Francis Healthcare locations); preferred at hire required prior to independent patient care at BSMH
Minimum Qualifications
Other Knowledge Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Healthcare and/or transport experience preferred
