Job Description

Within Amazons Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) we enjoy a unique vantage point into everything happening within Amazon. As part of that our team designs builds & maintains an integrated planning & reporting platform that enables hundreds of finance representatives across the globe.

We are seeking an experienced resultsoriented selfmotivated Technical Product Manager having a a history of solving complex problems and delivering high quality technical products. You will be responsible for developing product strategy defining product requirements working with global internal finance teams influencing stakeholders and engineering teams required to deliver an impactful product.

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong ownership business and product sense combined with a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts. You will need to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment without being hindered by ambiguity. High judgment ability to influence analytical talent exceptional communications the ability to partner with technical and nontechnical stakeholders and leadership are essential to success in this role.

The data flowing through our platform directly contributes to decisionmaking by our CFO and all levels of finance leadership. Key job responsibilities
Develop and drive product vision and strategy in alignment with the broader financial systems vision
Incorporate the needs of a large and diverse set of customers into a prioritized product roadmap
Identify and execute product led finance process transformation
Influence the tech design in partnership with engineering and making sure technology choices are aligned to customer needs
Identify and track the relevant product metrics to measure progress towards both customer impact and organizational goals

About the team
GFT team is a cross functional engineering team within Corp FP&A. We build services to help enable Finance teams to access information quickly and make decisions that impact Amazon. You will be interacting with finance customers application engineers software development engineers data engineers and UX designers to drive the key requirements and lead the roadmap for the product development of software services. This is a great opportunity for anyone to own the architecture and development across all stages.

Bachelors degree
7 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel prioritization and planning

Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau Qlikview QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
MBA with BS or higher in Computer Science or related field Strong analytical and quantitative skills Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
