Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing lessons instructing students with a wide range of abilities assessing student learning collecting and analyzing student data to plan instruction creating an engaging and respectful classroom environment communicating with students parent and multiple stakeholders maintaining accurate records supervising students participating in school improvement initiatives and learning professionally. Start date: August 25 2025
FTE:approximately additional Bright Beginnings planning and team time.
Contract School Year Length: 186 days (plus 2 days of new teacher orientation for newtodistrict teachers the week prior to August 25 2025
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by theState of Minnesota specific content knowledge training or job experience required before appointment and successful student teaching.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range listed $14786$31263 is based on the collective bargaining agreement forschool year thecollective bargaining agreement has yet to be negotiated. For more information please see theCertified Master Contract. No benefit eligibilty other thanEarned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)as provided by law and approximately 5 hours of personal leave (pro rate of 16 hours for 1.0 FTE). Final FTE Salary and personal leave calculation TBD based on final enrollment and calendar/planning times etc. normally determined in late May.
