Job Duties
This internship project will provide fixed asset inventory support for the finance department of the JamestownYorktown Foundation across all three of the Foundations sites to include Jamestown Settlement American Revolution Museum at Yorktown and the Phillip G. Emerson Central Support Complex.
This project will require physically identifying and tagging department assets for proper identification and record keeping according to law policy and best practices to include the creation and use of systems and processes that improve work flow efficiencies and allow for continued asset management.
Minimum Qualifications
Professionalism
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform accurate data entry.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills.
Positive attitude and customer service oriented.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift or move up to 50lbs.
Additional Considerations
Course work in Finance Business Data Analytics Database Development/Management Asset Management Logistics MS Office Suite and/or other relevant coursework or experience is helpful.
