About us

Cristbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937 he established the brand in Paris designing its collections there until 1968. Cristbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as the master of us all by Christian Dior and as The Couturier of the Couturiers by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultramodern shapes were trademarks of the house.
While the brands identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prtporter collections its leather goods footwear and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga readytowear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
Since October 2015 Demna has designed both mens and womens collections as the artistic director.
The Balenciaga House part of the Kering group since 2001 is one of the most influential names in fashion.
We are currently seeking a Social Media Project Manager who will report to the Head of Social Media.

Job Description

Your opportunity

Pilot the Asia social media ecosystem of Balenciaga in direct collaboration with the Head of Social and Digital Director.

How you will contribute

  • Manage &improve Balenciagas presence on Chinese platforms: WeChat Weibo RED Tmall and on APAC platforms: LINE TW LINE TH LINE JP
  • Compose the social media communication plan on a weekly basis for top management/artistic director on his/her dedicated plaforms
  • Development & animationof Balenciaga WeChat XInOne Miniprogram by bringing new and fastforward ideas
  • Planning coordination with local digital and merch teams (weekly meeting and followup) and support media team on 360 operation
  • Coordination with image team and followup of local content creation
  • Competitors benchmark in order to find key and strategic market opportunities to improve Balenciagas visibility
  • Data followup and strategic improvement according to performances.

Who you are

  • A professional with 5 years in a similar position in fashion/luxury industry or creative/entertainment industry
  • A person with a strong knowledge of Chinese and Asian social platforms
  • An expert on social media platforms english speaker with excellent communication skills. Mandarin is a plus
  • A professional with an analytic spirit force of proposal eager to suggest innovative ideas.
