Description:
The primary role of the Industrial Controls Technician is to continuously improve the reliability efficiency and utilization of plant electrical electronic and computerized control systems. This is accomplished by utilizing electrical and mechanical expertise in the precise design installation programming maintenance and repair of plant systems and equipment followed by concise and accurate documentation of all activities and observations. The industrial controls technician works closely with all plant personnel to support improved electrical electronic and computerized control system reliability as well as efficient and costeffective use of plant resources.
Job Duties:
industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to design install program operate maintain and repair plant electrical electronic and computerized control systems.
and record system performance and make adjustments to assure the safe and efficient operation of plant electrical electronic and computerized control systems.
3. Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance.
equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations plant engineering suppliers and other associates to improve equipment reliability.
the companys Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supports its use as a key management information tool.
develop and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals.
direction and training for less skilled maintenance personnel and machine operators.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
- Must be willing to work holidays if scheduled
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Be able to work in a cold environment 3245 degrees) for 810 hours a day
- 2 years of technical experience designing programming operating and maintaining industrial control systems.
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate degree in industrial Electronics/ Electrical Maintenance
