This is an MPLA Leave coverage from May 12 2025 through June 17 2025. A successful candidate will have a Masters degree Wilson or Orton Gillingham Certification and experience providing individualized instruction across academic social and behavioral domains. Competency and experience in administering standardized and criterionreferenced assessments developing IEPs and monitoring student progress are essential. Effective strategies for optimal student engagement and facilitating accommodations and modifications to support student access within the general education classroom are : Conducts standardized and informal assessments Effective use of strategies and knowledge of pedagogy to teach students with disabilities Communication skills both with staff and parents Serves as a case manager for students with disabilities Cultural proficiency and responsivenessQualifications: Masters Degree in Special Education Licensure in Moderate Disabilities Wilson Reading Certification Experience and/or training in administering interpreting and reporting on diagnostic assessment Knowledge of inclusive education both practically and philosophically Strength in team building and management$190 per day for over 20day assignmentOur district is committed to strengthening opportunities for diversity equity and inclusion.
