Job Description
We are seeking Shift Maintenance Supervisorsfor our First Quality Baby Products location in Macon GA. The primary role of the position is supervising directing and coordinating the training and work of all maintenance personnel who maintain troubleshoot repair and adjust the machinery equipment and components.
Job responsibilities include:
Observe all safety rules and use proper safety equipment at all times
Follow necessary GMP FDA and ISO regulations
Supervise direct and coordinate all maintenance processes and training of maintenance personnel
Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for all maintenance personnel
Administer disciplinary actions when required
Assign and monitor progress of assigned work or projects
Promote team atmosphere within the group
Assist with troubleshooting of all machinery equipment and components when required
Share knowledge with team members to promote a high skill level in the group
Contact outside vendors for special projects when required
Prepare reports and updates in a clear and concise manner
Required education experience and abilities include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Three to five years of supervisory experience
Advanced knowledge of technology and mechanics
Strong leadership communication and analytical skills
Ability to work a 12 hour shift (ether 7:30 AM 7:30 PM OR 7:30 PM 7:30 AM) on a rotating schedule that will include every other weekend and holidays when scheduled
