Material Handler II
Location/Division Specific Information:
Monday Friday 2pm 10:30 pm
Grand Island NYBiologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD). Manufacturing facility producing liquid and powder media and developing cell culture cell therapies.

A Day in the Life:
- Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations.
- Work in one or more process paths; receiving picking packing or shipping.
- Prepares shipping documents coordinates shipments with couriers and ships materials including finished products per applicable SOPs.
- Ensure inventory is stored accurately.
- Work with your team to make sure everyone has a magical experience every day.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of general warehouse experience.
- One to two years experience working with computers and basic software packages including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).
- Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Maintain knowledge of current import/export regulations as they relate to shipment of goods to and from the USA.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively.
- Selfmotivated selfstarter with strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural language and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to regularly sit stand walk talk and hear; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
- Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $14.41$19.21.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
