Job Description:
- Performs a variety of investigational procedures on patients such as Routine Extended and Portable video EEGs and Long Term Epilepsy Monitoring under direct supervision.
- Applies checks and maintains EEG electrodes correctly understanding the International 1020 System for placement.
- Calibrates and adjusts EEG instrument settings ensuring highquality artifactfree tracings. Performs special recording techniques as necessary.
- Gains knowledge of EEG technology principles anatomy and physiology. Recognizes normal and abnormal EEG activity patterns.
- Provides patientfocused care explains procedures clearly to patients or family members observes clinical manifestations and handles emergency situations appropriately.
- Handles administrative duties such as answering phones scheduling procedures keeping records maintaining supplies processing patient charges and ensuring equiptment maintenance.
- Actively participates in professional development activities inclusive of conferences technical meetings and assigned readings.
Education Requirement:
- High school graduate required.
- Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences or related field preferred.

Current CPR certificate required.
Skills:
Proficient in computer operations and technology.
Experience:
Hospital Experience preferred.
