Join our Communications and Marketing Division as a Media and Communications Advisor and help shape the public voice of the Department.
The role
As a Media and Communications Advisor youll support the delivery of highimpact communications that inform engage and influence. From crafting compelling media releases to creating engaging content and managing media enquiries this role offers the opportunity to work on highprofile issues that matter to the people of NSW.
What youll do:
- Create compelling content draft media releases talking points FAQs video content EDMs web content and presentation materials.
- Engage with the media monitor the news cycle unearth newsworthy stories and support proactive and reactive media relations.
- Support strategic campaigns contribute to the planning and of integrated external communications campaigns spanning announcements PR experiential events activations and stakeholder briefings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders work with internal teams to align messaging and ensure clear effective communications.
- Track and measure impact report on media coverage campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.

What you will bring to the role

What is an essential requirement:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications media or journalism or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience.
