Welcome to Project Nazir where we are building multiple products from scratch to manage the endtoend planning and financial processes for Global Engineering Service (GES). This is a multiyear initiative.

The GES organization is responsible for the design and construction of all Amazon fulfillment related facilities across the Amazon global network. This strategic organization builds and invests in the capacity to deliver growth for Consumer Fulfillment Amazon Transportation Amazon Air Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) and PillPack. GES spends tens of billion dollars in the construction of assets to deliver on capacity for planned shipping and retail demand for our external customers.

To build this suite of planning and financial systems we will stretch the limits of distributed systems and big data processing to solve hard technical problems and unprecedented scale challenges.

As part of this team you will work with executive leaders engineering product and operations stakeholders to drive process improvement generate ideas validate entitlement and then produce a path to production. You will define product strategy develop the product development roadmap and drive . Youll work in a fastpaced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level but also tactically daytoday by diving deeply into business and technical domains.



Key job responsibilities
1. Build and maintain Business Reporting and KPI dashboards.
2. Work/advice Tech and Partner teams for Data Retrofits activities
3. Maintain and update data models for data exports
4. Build Product adoption and usage KPIs (require integration with X datasets)
5. Build data pipelines
6. Maintain ETL and streaming jobs

10 years of professional or military experience
5 years of SQL experience
Experience programming to extract transform and clean large (multiTB) data sets
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval data science machine learning and data mining

Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
