Job Description

Looking to take your elevator career to the next level Delaware Elevator with branch offices spanning the Eastern Seaboard including Delaware Maryland Virginia North Carolina and Florida is searching for skilled Elevator Mechanics and Service Technicians. If you hold an elevator mechanic license and are ready for a change contact us today to find your place on our expert field operations team!

Essential Functions

  • New Construction & Modernization Mechanics: Install and upgrade elevator systems from ground break to final inspection.
  • Service Technicians: Maintain and repair equipment servicing moving parts and machinery that operate on mechanical and electronic principles.
  • Analyze information and troubleshoot to choose the best solutions.
  • Professionally interact with customers general contractors and business owners.

Qualifications

  • Hold an Elevator Mechanic license (or be able to obtain one within 6 months).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator trade.
  • Completion of a 4year federally approved apprenticeship program is a plus.
  • Physically capable of climbing lifting balancing and handling materials with precision.
  • Able to travel and participate in an oncall rotation (afterhours may be required).
