Note:Work schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility in schedule may be required to meet department needs.
The position will provide general support for the Nursing program provide accurate information about the Nursing program to prospective and current students other college departments and the community.Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Advise prospective and current students on routine questions regarding the Nursing program including program requirements. Facilitate program information sessions. Meet with students on an individual scheduled basis to provide information about the Nursing program. Meet with every student applying to the program to review their application materials. Attend recruitment activities such as job fairs and career days; keep labor market information up to date. Maintain Nursing program marketing materials and databases.
Position will serve on the Nursing Program Admissions Committee. Provide input regarding admission decisions application deadlines and application process. Coordinate Advisory Committee meetings and regularly scheduled faculty/staff meetings. Single point of contact for room scheduling for five Nursing classrooms/labs. Assign classrooms correct equipment coordinate usage of classrooms with other departments and reserve classrooms for events. Produce and maintain data/spreadsheets for class schedules clinical schedules for adjuncts and clinical scholars. Ascertain book requirements and order any needed desk copies every semester by the deadline for all Nursing faculty. Manage retention and enrollment data and statistics. Maintain student databases for cohort classes selection process and assignment worksheets/payroll for clinical instructors and student clinical placements.
Create and monitor clinical instructor and payroll workload sheets student attestation documents to clinical facilities and databases required to facilitate both processes. Hire and manage student employees in collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator. Calculate compensation data to create Assignment Worksheets to process payroll utilize Banner for instructor assignments and Faculty Load and Compensation (FLAC) process. Create and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems for fulltime faculty and parttime instructors working with Clinical Coordinator. Create workflow templates and manage cyclical documentation requirements each semester. Develop procedures to provide required student and faculty data to clinical agencies in a timely manner and provide clear communication with all clinical agencies. Enter update and evaluate data for reporting purposes and create monthly weekly quarterly and annual reports for clinical facilities college Colorado Board of Nursing and National League for Nursing. Create track and maintain student data sheets for CPR immunizations health insurance health statements and any other relevant documents. Perform clinical placement planning program compliance and draft communications.
Manage procurement card and purchasing/procurement regulations for official functions. Track budget expenses and process office supply orders invoices purchase requisitions direct pay forms and official function forms. Ensure compliance with purchasing requirements including but not limited to State purchasing rules college policies and procedures and Colorado Community College System policies and procedures. Work with Fiscal Services to arrange travel for Nursing Department staff. Position will perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Only:
Thirtysix months 36 of clerical experience as listed above performed as the primary function of the job. Daily interaction with students faculty and staff require that this position have strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Computer literacy is a must. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success in this position.Do not use SEE RESUME statements on application; your application must be completed in detail and clearly document your relevant work experience. Education and Experience:
College university or noncorrespondence business school course work from an accredited institution in Business or similar field may substitute for the clerical experience on a year for year basis.
