Were looking for an experienced data product manager to join our team to help build a customer master that will transform how we collect store and consume our commercial client data. You will have the opportunity to help with vision strategy and drive prioritization and will lead an agile team to build on this vision.
What will you do
You will have the opportunity to work in a handson collaborative environment with top designers engineers data scientists & analysts to build breakthrough experiences and data products that solve our users most critical needs. As a Product Owner you will play a critical role in achieving our strategy to build a customer master that will transform how we collect store and consume our commercial client data that drive our business forward.
Engage with associates across all Commercial business including users business stakeholders & product partners to identify data needs uses & its movement across CML.
Create & maintain product roadmaps in conjunction with the Senior Product Manager and coordinate with teams for (Tech Data Analysts Designers Business Stakeholders Change Management)
Develop detailed product specifications scenarios acceptance criteria and success measures like product instrumentation data storage accessibility usability via tools data grain and frequency.
Manage & Prioritize Feature and story backlog within the pod to track development.
Support enduser golive/launch activities as needed (enduser training marketing collateral etc.
Heres what youll need to be successful:
Understanding of how data products solve for analytical and operational use cases
Significant experience applying analytical rigor to support technology decisions
A bias to action and a proven track record of shipping successful products which exceed user expectations
Knowledge and passion for emerging technologies and how they are used to empower developers and businesses to deliver great products.
Grounding in humancentered design with a natural empathy for users
Strategic thinking and ability to effectively identify opportunities for growth in new businesses and markets
A high level of intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
Structured communication & storytelling skills who can explain complex data problems to all audiences
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or military experience
At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design agile delivery business analysis data science or software engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or Engineering
2 years of experience leading agile teams to launch data products
Working knowledge on Agile SAFe methodologies
Basic programming and algorithm development experience
Familiarity with opensource tools
Experience in designing and creating the architecture of Client Relationship Management or Master Data Management solutions

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Richmond VA: $99100 $113100 for Sr. Associate Product ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
