Responsibilities
What youll do
- Deliver on Our Promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients by providing assistance when needed and communicating proactively.
- Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless parking experience.
- Count vehicles on location throughout shift as needed.
- Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies; patrol transient and reserved parking levels as needed.
- Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
- Responsible for being at work every scheduled day on time and in uniform.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
- Report any known accidents observed or suspected violations of Company policy safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris water oil spills and etc. to garage office.
- Substitute for Valets when necessary if authorized.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage thorough knowledge of the major streets landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.
- Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Qualifications
What you need
- A valid state drivers license current address and acceptable driving record.
- The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
- Availability to work special shifts if needed 2nd 3rd shift and/or weekends).
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).
- The ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
- The ability to read write add and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions short emails and memos.
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes delays and unexpected events while working.
Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
