The Opportunity
The Goode and Kwan Laboratories at the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute are seeking a motivated and talented fulltime Research Assistant to contribute to cuttingedge cancer research.
In this exciting role you will join a team at the forefront of translational cancer research developing and applying innovative bioinformatics methods for multiomics data analysis. Your work will focus on genomic epigenomic transcriptomic and spatial proteomic (e.g. multiplex immunohistochemistry) data derived from tissue and liquid biopsy samples across laboratory and clinical studies.
This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with dynamic multidisciplinary teams and make a meaningful impact across a wide range of cancer bioinformatics projects. Your work will contribute to the search for better treatments for cancer patients. Expand your research expertise while driving progress in a worldclass biomedical research environment.

Our research is highly relevant to major human diseases and pathological processes including infection inflammation diabetes and obesity developmental and degenerative disorders cardiovascular disease and cancer. With a growing footprint in omics bioinformatics and AI the department is forging new directions in multidisciplinary research.
