Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Dudley Private Hospital on a permanent parttime basis.
About the Role
This role will work across the Group Therapy Programs delivered to both inpatients and day patients and individual therapy. Therapy aims to provide support skills and education in the treatment and management of a range of mental health illnesses. This role also involves the planning and facilitation of group services for patients.
Working in collaboration with our psychiatrists and a highly qualified and skilled team of nurses and allied health professionals you will be part of a truly wonderful team dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Western NSW.
You will also have the opportunity to make this into a dual role that involves two days per week focused on inpatient work in our beautiful clinic and then they will also have the capacity of up to three days in our consulting suites running their own private practice. Our onsite suites are attractive as they come with onsite admin support included and benefits from warm referrals from four onsite private practicing psychiatrists plus in patient clinic referrals as well.
Your Skills and Experience
- Facilitating group therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
- Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be selfmotivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills

Dudley Private Hospital is a 62 bed facility that provides a comprehensive range of medical surgical rehabilitation and psychiatric services. The hospital has 4 Operating Theatres including a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory. Apart from general medical and surgical beds there are 27 licensed rehabilitation beds a cardiac care unit and a 15bed mental health unit known as the Ramsay Clinic Orange.
