We seek engineers who can help us shape and develop our adsupported video streaming service Amazon MXPlayer available on mobile TV and web. This is an exciting opportunity for a rockstar engineer who wants to work in a startup like environment and is passionate about digital media and new customer experiences.

We have scaled up significantly over the past few years. We started off as miniTV and we acquired MXPlayer last year to become Amazon MXPlayer. You may have heard of some of our award winning original content Ashram HipHop India Sixer Physicswallah etc.
job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced crossdisciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring to market innovative products and services.
Design and build features for Android TV
Design and build new Machine Learning powered personalised experiences for miniTV customers.

About the team
This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the best engineers at Amazon (and probably in the world) and one of the best teams at Amazon (rated very highly in a companywide yearly assessment) be part of a new initiative from scratch which is going to become a huge area of growth for Amazons Advertising business and pioneer the usage of new technology at Amazon scale.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
