Job Description
Alden School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Reading Specialist for theSchool Year
Requirements:
Current certification in Reading (All Levels) from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or Elementary Education 16 with additional training in reading instruction SEI Endorsement required;
Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university;
Management skills that support students socialemotional learning;
Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners;
Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks;
Understanding the importance of collaborating with colleagues and families to create a positive learning environment for all students;
Citizenship residency or work visa required.
