Scope has 5 Supported Independent Living homes across Bonnells Bay and Morisset. These are very robust homes supporting clients with complex mental health and behaviours psychosocial intellectual and physical disabilities and a history with the criminal justice program.
This position is only suitable for confident proactive passionate and reliable support workers who are comfortable in highbehaviour and complex environments also supporting male clients with verbal and physical aggression and restrictive practice in place.

We require staff to work on a 24/7 rotating roster so applicants must have full working rights and be able to work AM/PM and overnight shifts.
Your role:
- Promote choice and controland show eagerness to participate in our clients day to day routines goals and interests.
- Follow behaviour support restrictive practices and client care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients current skills such as hygiene safe relationships domestic duties using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Bring resilience strong boundaries and a safe space for our clients.
- Provide person centered active support personal care with dignity and respect.
- To be competentin your computer/ IT skills and report writing!
Some of our requirements:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however whats important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include mornings 6am2pm) afternoons 2pm10pm) active nights 10pm6am).
