Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Chargehand to supervise the activities of artisans responsible for maintaining modifying installation and repairs. Inspect plant or production area for scheduling maintenance or repairs as required to minimise loss of production. May be an Artisan in more than one trade e.g. welder fitter boilermaker electrical/mechanical.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage supervise and motivate a team of workshop staffManage the fleet service and maintenance programme as per maintenance procedureManage the stores stock with storemanAttend regular HSE meetings and toolbox talk discussions with workshop staffDeadline orientated and prepared to do adhoc tasks
Minimum Requirements
The abilities to communicate is essentialAbility to work adhere to predetermined StandardsMust be able to work under pressure after hours and shiftsThe abilities to communicate is essential
