Position Overview:
Join our team at The Grill a vibrant lakeside restaurant known for fast casual dining at Clemson Marina! As a Server youll be the face of our restaurant ensuring guests enjoy a delightful dining experience with breathtaking waterfront views. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fastpaced environment and love engaging with people making every meal memorable.

Essential Functions:
- Greet all guests warmly within 30 seconds of their arrival creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by promoting daily specials and sharing your genuine recommendations and preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen.
- Efficiently assemble and deliver orders to the appropriate tables ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide prompt and attentive service ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Handle guest inquiries complaints and requests in a professional swift manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Wash dishes utensils and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables chairs and the dining area.
- Adhere to health safety and sanitation standards.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
- Customer service experience especially in food service or retail (training provided for those without prior experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork abilities
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Clear background check and drug screening.
- Full weekend and summer holiday availability. Typical hours of operation are FridaySunday 11:00 AM 9:00 PM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role
- Familiarity with pointofsale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of food and beverage service best practices
- Enthusiasm for lakeside living and the boating lifestyle
Working Conditions:
- Performs work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions as The Grill features covered outdoor dining areas.
- Remains stationary for extended periods of time.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with guests to take orders and handle guest needs.
- Moves about the restaurant to deliver food to customers and carry out sanitation duties.
- Moves up to 25 lbs.
The anticipated pay for this position is $2.50 per hour plus tips which are distributed through a tip pool.
