Fire Sprinkler Inspectors are responsible for the testing and documenting the results of fire protection systems according to NFPA standards.
How you will do it
Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
Perform routine inspections testing servicing and preventative maintenance on water based sprinkler systems and their components.
Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
Input retrieve and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.
Complete assigned inspections on time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Preferred:
13 years of experience with sprinkler systems
NICET I or II Certification (based on experience)
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints diagrams and specifications
Able to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
Required:
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 5070 pounds
Must be able to work on lifts and ladders
Must be able to work as part of a team
Must have a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets company requirements
Must be available to participate in a scheduled after hours oncall rotation
Able to pass a preemployment background and drug test
Ability to adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all time
