Job Description
St. Rita Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and missiondriven Admissions Director to join our team for theschool year. This individual will play a vital role in advancing the schools mission by leading student recruitment enrollment and retention efforts. The Admissions Director will cultivate meaningful relationships with prospective and current families local feeder schools and the broader parish community to ensure a thriving and engaged student body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic admissions plan that aligns with the schools mission and values.
- Manage all aspects of the admissions process including inquiries applications family interviews admission assessments and enrollment decisions.
- Plan and execute admissions events including open houses campus tours and shadow days.
- Maintain accurate enrollment data and provide reports to school leadership as needed.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create engaging admissions materials including brochures website content and social media campaigns.
- Build relationships with local feeder schools and community organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Represent the school at community events educational fairs and parish functions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families offering personalized guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Work closely with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless transition for new students.
- Partner with the Parents Club Newcomers Committee and assign mentor families to all incoming families.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President or Principal.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
- A bachelors degree in education marketing communications or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in admissions marketing or a related field ideally in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using technology and database management for admissions and enrollment tracking.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
