Position Description:

We have an excellent opportunity for an AWS Developer to join our team to be part of a team that is passionate about cloud technologies and has a strong background in AWS services and integrations while building close relationships with both client and CGI team members.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Develop robust Kafka/Streaming integrations to efficiently ingest and process data.
Implement and manage AWS networking components including VPCs and security configurations.
Develop and maintain applications using AWS services such as AppSync API Gateway (REST APIs) Lambda CDN/CloudFront and Redis.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to design and implement GraphQL and REST API solutions.
Write clean scalable and efficient code in Python and Java.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
Identify and resolve issues related to AWS services and integrations ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
4 years of experience with AWS networking and services.
Handson experience with AppSync API Gateway (REST APIs) Lambda CDN/CloudFront and Redis.
Proficient in Python and/or Java.
Experience with Kafka/Streaming integrations for data ingestion.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GitLab CI will be a plus.
AWS certifications are a plus.
