Job Description
The Department of Sociology at Austin Peay State University is currently seeking qualified applicants to join our Adjunct Instructor Pool. This pool will be used to fill parttime temporary teaching positions on an asneeded basis for upcoming semesters. Adjunct instructors will teach undergraduate courses in sociology which may includebut are not limited toIntroduction to Sociology Social Problems Race and Ethnicity Gender and Society and Sociology of the Family. Courses may be offered inperson online or in hybrid formats. Austin Peay State University is a fouryear public doctorallevel university with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10000 students and is located in Clarksville Tennessee a community of an estimated 150287 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville TN.
