Job Description
HS Girls Basketball 1st Assistant
HS History Teacher / Girls Coach
School Year
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual emotional physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
This position will be a dual assignment as a HS coach / teacher. The primary coaching assignment will be 1st assistant girls basketball. The likely teaching assignment will be HS History. Please indicate all areas you are certified to teach.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
CDL School Bus license or ability to complete this summer
