A key member of the Project Delivery team this role will work collaboratively across multiple functions to facilitate the planning and of integrated production plans. The Production Controller is accountable for developing a delivery plan that incorporates both business plan and customer requirements to achieve ontime delivery of quality products and services at the most effective cost.
Our UK Defence business is a Sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. As well as developing and supporting UK wide and internationally deployed multidomain command and control systems our work is critical to the modern backbone of the Royal Navy. Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the project team develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demands inventory levels and production capacity.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g. manufacturing procurement and logistics) to ensure the availability of materials labour and equipment.
- Working closely with supply chain and logistics monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods and forecast future inventory needs to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Be the conduit between engineering materials control and supply chain in the launch of newly designed requirements.
- Work closely with the project team to resolve any production issues including with the supply chain ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.

We are looking for:
- Previous experience in a complex production environment
- Adept at problemsolving able to develop solutions to a variety of problems
- Good attention to detail
- Organised adept at workload management and prioritising appropriately to meet deadlines
- Flexible and responsive to changing priorities
