Job Title: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
Qualifications:The ECSE teacher must possessa valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education and have an understanding of special education processes. The ECSE teacher should have experience working with preschool age students with disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead teacher in an integrated preschool or prek classroom
- Coordinate and facilitate daily schedules and classroom activities to meet the needs of all students
- Assign responsibilities for and work with classroom paraprofessionals to best facilitate classroom functioning
- Provide special education services for students with IEPs.
- Schedule and facilitate IEP and Evaluation meetings for students.
- Meet all deadlines for IEPs and Evaluations
- Work with other preschool and prek teachers to evaluate and monitor student growth
